James Sternberg
Founder & Creative Director
Studio, Systems & World
James Sternberg is the founder and creative director of Timewright Studios. Born and raised in Indiana, he lives in Indianapolis with his wife, two sons, and two dogs.
His background spans both creative and technical work, with long-running interests in games, animation, computer graphics, music, and world-building alongside professional experience in software, databases, integrations, identity, access, and operational systems. Timewright is where those paths meet: a studio built to create thoughtful software, memorable experiences, and worlds designed to survive change.
Away from the desk, he is usually looking for an adventure with his family, spending time near the water whether at the lake or the beach, riding his motorcycle, watching or playing something sports-related, or finding another reason to be outside.

One founder is here. Two founding seats remain.
Timewright is founder-led, but it is not intended to remain a one-person creative center. Two founding partner seats remain for builders whose authority, responsibility, risk, and ownership would match the importance of the work they help define. These are founding partnerships, not conventional job openings.
